Sr Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead key client relationships and help our agency grow. We’re seeking someone who is an accomplished account manager, entrepreneurially-minded, and a relationship expert. You should have experience being the “go-to” contact for clients and have a passion for serving customers. You understand the intersection between search, social, content, and paid media at high level. Additionally, you have thorough knowledge on how to balance business needs against client demands, and you aren’t afraid to provide input or opinions when necessary. You also have specific example of times when you’ve rolled up your sleeves and dug into a challenge. In short, you are committed to the business and the relationships that comprise it and are willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

/ What you'll do

You’ll be in charge of executing PACIFIC’s approach to client management with existing clients and seeking out opportunities for growth within your accounts. Some of your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Overseeing and helping to inform the overall strategy for the client across a wide array of digital channels and client business units
  • Identifying cross and up-sell opportunities within a client’s business, through consensus building, participation in client-side activities, and active negotiation
  • Maintaining the economic health and profitability of the account, including approving invoices, developing budgets, and scoping documents
  • Conveying fundamentals of strategy to both internal and client teams
  • Working with the internal team to ensure the day-to-day execution of client strategy and tactics
  • Partnering with the SEO, content, creative, and social teams to ensure best practices when working with the client
  • Aiding in the crafting of blog posts, points-of-view, and white papers to further promote our agency
  • Proactively anticipating client relationship based on priority meetings, business reviews, etc.
  • Exhibiting a restless interest in advancing the success of our clients
  • Coordinate international management between PACIFIC global offices, ensuring communication, workload and projects are running succinct between all teams 
  • Supports the UK Sales funnel by looking for opportunities amongst clients for up-sells or other new sales related opportunities 

/ Your Background

We embrace diverse backgrounds, but at a minimum, our ideal candidate fits the following profile:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in digital account management
  • Preferred experience working on international accounts, working across multiple offices and teams as well as experience with larger sized clients
  • Comfortable with presenting and connecting to audiences with various levels of seniority and expertise
  • Knowledge of digital strategy, client execution, best practices, and analytics
  • Exceptional communication and public, client-facing presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Adaptable personality comfortable with a fast-paced environment where priorities shift daily
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and support internal project management of potential conflicting projects with a multitude of priorities
  • Proven experience around accurately forecasting shifts in workload, with attention to detail in billable hours tracking
