Jr. UX Designer

PACIFIC is currently on the hunt for a Jr. UX Designer who will ideate intuitive and insightful experiences for users, develop wireframes, analyze data, and conduct user experience audits.

The position requires comfort with multi-tasking while maintaining strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and an ability to build relationships across internal and external audiences—all while working in a fast-paced environment.

/ What you'll do

  • Apply UX processes, including user research, information architecture, wireframes and prototypes, usability testing, and metrics to inform your design decisions
  • Help identify and understand the project’s strategic goals, user needs and technical constraints
  • Collaborate with internal team members to brainstorm solutions or ways of approaching the design challenge
  • Conceptualize and iterate high-fidelity designs and prototypes in partnership with a team of SEO’s, designers, project managers, writers, and strategists
  • Work closely with the SEO team to conduct UX audits using tools such as FullStory and UserTesting
  • Develop ideas and design solutions that also include Infographics, advertising campaigns and marketing collaterals
  • Meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Stay up to date with design and UX industry trends
  • Ensure high standards for visual creative output while reporting to the Creative Director

/ Your Background

We embrace diverse backgrounds, but at a minimum our ideal candidate fits the following profile:

  • A minimum of 2 years designing for web and mobile
  • Bachelor’s Degree in design or equivalent
  • Online portfolio showcasing design and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of user interface and information design principles
  • Exceptional visual design skills
  • Passion for designing visualizations that help people find meaning in data
  • Comfortable with iterative design process
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Top-notch communicator and creative thinker
