The role of an Account Director is to lead and maintain the relationship with your client(s) and guide the team members that report to you, providing overall direction and long-term growth opportunities. You will have a birds-eye, strategy-focused view on your personal accounts and will create conditions where others thrive and produce the best possible work. The Account Director will help shape and work closely with direct reports to ensure clarity on the division of responsibilities and a ‘right person, right role’ skills-based approach. They’ll be an expert in their clients’ brand and business as well as being the purveyor of success on the PACIFIC-owned portion of the clients’ marketing program(s). The Account Director must also be entrepreneurially and financially minded, recognizing opportunities for ongoing profitability and ensuring existing relationships are forecasted appropriately. The Account Director will support the Director of Client Services in representing the department in a proactive, organized manner, and will assist in team member decisions, coaching, and management.
