Account Executive

PACIFIC is seeking a talented Account Executive, entrepreneurially minded with a good understanding of what makes people tick. You should have experience building strong senior-level relationships and be able to identify and cultivate new business opportunities for clients. You have a passion for problem solving and as a digital marketing professional, you understand Performance Marketing and the strategic intersections between search, social, creative content, and paid media. Additionally, you have thorough knowledge of how to balance our commercial needs against client demands, and you aren’t afraid to justify the value for the price of our solutions. You have specific examples when you’ve helped clients see value in new services that address their most pressing challenges.

In this key role, you share responsibility for your assigned accounts with the Client Services representatives who are responsible for delivery of the services we sell. This will include assistance in the development and execution of an account plan, working with the Client Services representative who manages the day to day delivery for PACIFIC’s clients.

/ What you'll do

The Account Executive will manage up-sell opportunities and develop their assigned accounts as follows:

  • Responsibility for business development for existing clients, including attainment of quota goals for account growth. Conduct accurate sales forecasting.
  • Develop PACIFIC sales opportunities for current clients (at the CMO, VP, Director of Digital Marketing, Manager of Search, Manager of IT, etc.) to expand PACIFIC’s services and adoption within client companies.
  • Utilize consultative sales methodologies to clearly develop and articulate the unique value proposition of PACIFIC’s solutions in relevant business terms.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and help define client requirements and service solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Work closely with the PACIFIC Client Services team and engage PACIFIC service solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Achieve sales and revenue targets for all assigned accounts. Meet or exceed quarterly quotas.
  • Assist in the presentation of Quarterly Business Reviews for assigned accounts.
  • Participate in the development of annual and quarterly account plans.
  • Assist with Invoicing, A/R remediation, and other account related administrative needs as required.

/ Your Background

The successful candidate will have the following proven experience and characteristics:

  • 5+ years account management and/or account executive experience at the enterprise level with emphasis on sales to existing clients
  • Exceptional client service attitude and abilities
  • Proven & verifiable track record of current client account growth and quota attainment (>$1MM annually) for services company delivering to large enterprises
  • Experience collaborating with service delivery teams to identify sales or up-sell opportunities which complement existing client programs or strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills – demonstrable ability to persuade senior-level stakeholders
  • Formal training with solution selling methodologies is a plus
  • Experience with and knowledge of interactive marketing, creative services, digital media sales and service, SEO/SEM, eCommerce, & web technologies
  • Strong reference from previous managers, pees, and customers
  • Previous experience with SalesForce.com or other CRM system helpful
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience delivering VP or C-level presentations
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office platform; specifically, PowerPoint presentation development skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required

This position has a highly competitive base salary, uncapped variable compensation, and an excellent stock option plan.
