Director of Data and Analytics

The Director of Data and Analytics at PACIFIC manage on-demand marketing analytics requests, develops innovative analytics tools across all aspects of the digital marketing landscape, and provides a valuable impact in maximizing clients’ investments and organizational decision-making.

This is a full-time (8-hour) remote position for candidates located in the US.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year

/ What you'll do

  • Oversee engagement with clients
  • Understand digital marketing and effective strategies
  • Manage data to propose an impactful organizational change
  • Be an expert in visualization and reporting dashboard creation around content engagement & performance funnel analysis
  • Be a subject matter expert in reporting in order to offer support with on-demand requests for data insights and technical consulting
  • Supervise and build processes and tools to make data more accessible
  • Develop and problem solve for enterprise-level data solutions as a self-starter
  • Experience with billable hours and contract work required
  • Manage the documenting and training on technical processes
  • Heavy leveraging of SQL methods for ad-hoc analysis and establishing ETL workflows
  • In-depth analysis of customer data to determine the significance of trends and impact on business health
  • Contribute to the preparation of study deliverables, including presentations and reports
  • Create and monitor reports to determine data quality and completeness, identify and diagnose critical issues, trends, and opportunities
  • Utilize predictive analytics methodologies for client forecasting and pacing
  • Present and communicate the results of analyses to cater to diverse audiences from highly technical to executives
  • Oversee the development of new data warehousing architecture and analyze proposed design changes to ease future data migration

  • Project Management Skills
  • Leadership and supervisory skills with strategic projects
  • Direct client service experience; agency experience is ideal
  • Digital marketing experience: 1+ years
  • SQL: 3+ years experience
  • Tableau: 3+ years experience
  • Object-oriented programming experience would be pleasant to have but not required (e.g., Python)
  • Digital marketing analytics experience is a plus, but not required; however ideal candidates will have an interest in marketing analytics
  • Experience communicating and consulting with technical and non-technical business users and executives
  • Growth mindset – constantly adapting and optimizing new solutions
  • Experience with vendor relations
  • Agile project management style
  • Adobe Analytics (Omniture) is nice to have but not required
