Marketing Data Analyst (remote)

The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for supporting on-demand marketing analytics requests and developing innovative analytics tools across all aspects of the digital marketing landscape.

Salary range of $75K – $85K

/ What you'll do

  • Expert in visualization and reporting dashboard creation around content engagement & performance funnel analysis
  • Become a subject matter expert in reporting in order to offer support with on-demand requests for data insights and technical consulting in a support/help desk environment
  • Actively build processes and tools to make data more accessible
  • Develop and problem-solve for enterprise-level data solutions as a self-starter
  • Experience with billable hours and contract work required
  • Experience with documenting and training on technical processes
  • Heavy leveraging of SQL methods for ad-hoc analysis and establishing ETL workflows
  • In-depth analysis of customer data to determine the significance of trends and impact on business health
  • Contribute to the preparation of study deliverables, including presentations and reports
  • Create and monitor reports to determine data quality and completeness, identify and diagnose critical issues, trends, and opportunities
  • Utilize predictive analytics methodologies for client forecasting and pacing
  • Present and communicate the results of analyses to cater to diverse audiences from highly technical to executives
  • Assist with the development of new data warehousing architecture and analyze proposed design changes to ease future data migration

/ Your Background

  • Skills
    • Tableau: 3+years of experience
    • SQL: 3+ years experience
    • Object-oriented programming experience would be nice to have but not required (R & Python)
    • Digital marketing analytics including search engine optimization specialty
    • Experience communicating and consulting with technical and non-technical business users and executives
    • Growth mindset – always adapting and optimizing new solutions
    • Experience with vendor relations
    • Agile project management style
    • Adobe Analytics (Omniture) is nice to have but not required
