SEO Specialist

We are a digital media company that delivers conversion-focused content & marketing solutions and we are looking for a knowledgeable SEO Specialist to support our SEO Managers and clients. The SEO Specialist needs to be passionate about advancing their knowledge and experience in the field of organic search.


As an SEO Specialist, the core responsibility is to assist the SEO Managers on the many operational tasks related to optimizing a website for organic search; from keyword research, to content updates, to pulling performance numbers for reporting. In essence, they understand the core concepts behind SEO, know how to unearth keyword opportunities, and have enough working knowledge to pull & interpret intelligence from Google Analytics or any other common data source. They are not afraid to get their hands dirty and challenge themselves to grow their skills further. This position has room to grow into a role that involves project management, SEO campaign ownership, and direct client interaction.


/ What you'll do

  • Efficiently carry out keyword research using SEOclarity, STAT, Keyword Planner, and other research tools
  • Pull competitive data and observations through 3rd party tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and BrightEdge
  • Extract & analyze key performance metrics from Google Analytics, Qlikview, Adobe Analytics, or other performance dashboards
  • Create monthly reports and dashboards on campaign performance
  • Make on-page SEO updates using various CMS platforms
  • Recommend basic fixes to HTML, sitemaps, schema, and other technical areas
  • Crawl large sites and analyze internal link structure
  • Work directly with the SEO Managers to execute tasks for multiple clients

/ Your Background

  • 1 – 2 years of SEO experience in the digital marketing space (agency experience a plus)
  • Experience with rank tracking tools like SEOClarity or STAT
  • Eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions
  • Has excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Google Search Console & Google Analytics
  • Desire to advance their skillset and grow within the agency
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirited and a self-starter; able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Exhibit enthusiasm, passion, creativity and commitment
